What's New

Features land in NewRecruit faster than most authors hear about them. Each line below is one data-authoring feature, newest first, linking to the page that explains it. Skim it top to bottom once in a while; the point of this page is finding tools you didn't know existed.

2026

  • Text-modifier tweaks (v1.4.15, 2026-08): append/prepend can skip when the text is already there ("unless present"), and replace with an empty find-text fills in an empty value. → Modifiers
  • Show tracker on categories (2026-07): always display a category with its count and limits, even while not having any available or selected units within ("Prime Elites 0/6"). → Army-wide limits
